
Obgob

Build overpowered combos! Obgob is a autobattler roguelike with a focus on allowing the player to experiment and create wacky combos with item combinations, traits, and artifacts. Select a character and recruit units carefully positioning them while utilizing your resources to make broken builds.
On the Itch Version I cant guarantee saves will transfer over session to session! If you want to make sure your saves are safe try out the steam playtest! (It's also where I'll be updating the game more frequently.)
Break The Game!
Obgob is a auto chess roguelike focused on creating absurd builds that break the game. Artifacts can combo with units, items and other artifacts to create the ultimate boards.
Game Components
- Artifacts act as the team enhancers allowing the team to participate in a buff, you can get these at shops, elite battles, or beating a boss.
- Items act as unit enhancers that make units stronger, especially if they scale off the items stats. These are available from chests, and shops.
- Units are the team of creatures you use to fight for you. These units can star up if you collect three copies of their type, from 1 star, to 2 star, to 3 star.
- Traits are the components linking creatures toghether. Collect enough of a kind and you can give special and unique bonuses to your team!

Sadly I can't play on website after the itch page updated. RunTimeError. I think it might be my problem.
At least, I still managed to test the now fixed save function, the elite farm is fixed but I found out another one: Continuing the game after quitting REROLL the shop, meaning we could just repeat this and have free rerolls. Maybe we should make saving also save the shop status too?
Nope you're right the runtime error is a build issue, I'll fix that today! Also will try to fix the save system again, saving shop state might be the move. Thanks for the feedback!

Love the game but it is a bit buggy. People can exploit by returning to menu on elite fights and farm for gold/artifacts.
Yeah I think that's because there's a limit for artifacts at 100 which I thought would be irrelavent because who's going to get to 100...
Thats awesome XD. I'll definitely fix that soon! I havent really messed with the save system in a while cause no one testing my game really used it so this is really good feedback. Thank you for playing my game and let me know any other feedback if you ever want to!

Being someone who randomly found this online, I'd say I kept playing more than I though I would haha. The rugged drawings and the way the sounds stack together is nice and fun. Keep up the awesome work, would love to see more! ^ww^
Thanks for this comment, means a lot to see that people have fun with the silly games I create. I have a lot more content planned and hopefully can make it all happen. Around 3 more goblins were supposed to be in the release patch so expect that soon. I also want more smart unit placement which should increase the difficulty a bit (hopefully not too much), and I want to make the game have a more roguelike format where you get items you can place on units to do certain things throughout a run to make it more fun to replay.
